“AniPaper – Jungle Storm” is one of the four animated wallpapers developed and commercialized by AniPaper.com. The most remarkable characteristic of this application is indeed, that it’s an animated wallpaper instead of a still wallpaper, which is the most commonly seen type.
The wallpaper shows a rainy night with a huge thunderstorm and flashes of lightning lighting up the jungle. Beneath the furious sky, there’s a lush and rocky jungle with beautiful and shiny waterfalls. In the middle of the image there seems to be an ancient pyramid like construction, almost hidden between the rocks and jungle plants. The rain keeps falling down and changes direction as the wind blows. It can result relaxing, but that’s not necessarily for all people. It depends on your likes regarding storm. The water drops and lightning are not that realistic, so it could be improved to give a more realistic feeling. The one thing this application lacks to create an incredibly experience is some sound effects. Permanent sounds could be inappropriate given the type of application and theme of this particular wallpaper, but it would be nice to have the possibility to set some sounds on and off, according to the situation. Another aspect that would be grate to be able to configure is the rain intensity and speed, and the frequency of the flashes of lightning.
